Ben Neaderland is a counsel in the firm's Securities Department, and a member of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2003.
Practice
In his securities enforcement practice, Mr. Neaderland has represented individuals and major US and European publicly traded companies in investigations by the SEC, the NYSE, the NASD and the US Department of Justice on issues including options backdating, insider trading, market timing, late trading and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. He has also provided pro bono advice to a national legal organization regarding efforts to stem the erosion of the Attorney-Client Privilege.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Neaderland served as a foreign affairs specialist in the Office of European and NATO Policy, Office of the Secretary of Defense (1997-2000) and as a foreign affairs legislative assistant to United States Senator William S. Cohen (1995-1996).
