George resides in Syosset, Nassau County, with his wife Madeline. They are the parents of four adult sons and have two granddaughters. He takes an enthusiastic part in numerous community activities and in the past thirty five years, he has been a manager of Williston Park Little League teams and has served in various capacities in local Boy Scout activities. He served on the condominium board of Hidden Ridge III in Syosset. He enjoys travel, golf and walking; however, his first love, after his family, remains his energetic practice of law and his Bar Association activities. George is past president of the QCBA and the 2005 recipient of the New York State Bar Association's Attorney Professionalism Award.
