John F. Nash has been for years a well-known and highly respected litigator in the Nassau and Suffolk Trial Courts. Mr. Nash joined the Firm in 1980 having received his legal training from the New York City Law Department Office of The Corporation Counsel where he became the Unit Chief and the lead trial attorney in the prestigious Manhattan Trials Unit. He became a Member of the Firm in 1985 and in 1991 became a Resident Member of the Firm's Mineola office. Proud of his reputation for being a true professional, Mr. Nash has been instrumental in transforming the Firm's Long Island office into one of Long Island's premier plaintiff's personal injury firms. John Nash has recovered substantial verdicts and settlements for the Firm's clients in the areas of product liability, premises and motor vehicle negligence. These include a $1.2 million settlement for a 51-year-old woman who required a spinal fusion after being hit by a "train" of shopping carts, and $2 million for a 40-year-old laborer who was not given proper equipment to secure him and fell from a roof of a shopping center and sustained serious brain injuries. Mr. Nash is a 1977 Graduate of Brooklyn Law School and is admitted to practice in local state and federal courts as well as the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Nassau – Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. John is a retired Navy Captain who continues to serve the Navy as a U.S. Naval Academy Blue & Gold Officer, Congressional Interview Officer and as a Trustee of the Naval Academy Foundation.
