Naegle Law & Mediation, P.C. was established in 2009 by Lorelei Naegle a practicing attorney, with a focus on assisting clients in resolving their legal issues through the most appropriate and cost-effective methods available. Lorelei Naegle is both an attorney and trained mediator. Lorelei graduated from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark’s School of Law in 2002 and for the first seven years of her career worked in a mid-sized law firm in the Provo/Orem and St. George areas where she represented clients in a variety of litigation and transactional matters. In 2008, Lorelei completed training with Utah Dispute Resolution in both basic mediation and domestic mediation. In 2009 Lorelei started her own legal practice in order to better provide her clients with the level of representation and advice that all clients deserve.
Lorelei’s legal practice focuses on the areas of family law (divorce, paternity, custody), probate and estate administration, and property matters. Lorelei’s experience in both litigation and mediation greatly benefits both her litigation and mediation clients by providing the skills and perspective from both fields. In particular, Lorelei is dedicated to putting her clients first and assisting clients to reach the best resolution for each client and their families given each client’s individual circumstances. The legal clients of Naegle Law & Mediation have come to rely on Lorelei’s competence and willingness to educate clients about the legal process, the possible outcomes of their case, and the alternative approaches that can be taken to resolve their case. At Naegle Law & Mediation, our first priority is to provide knowledgeable advice, timely responses to calls and emails (most will be returned within the same business day), and easy to read billing. We offer potential clients cost-effective alternatives to traditional representation through our Pro Se Assistance services (www.naegle-law.com/proseassistance) for limited or “unbundled” legal services. Our commitment is to provide every client with the information you will need to make the decisions that will impact your life most and to be your advocate throughout the process.
Mediation Services
While many potential clients may not yet be familiar with mediation, it is frequently employed in traditional litigation cases as a method for resolving disputes without incurring the costs and time involved in a full-blown trial. Mediation is always voluntary and confidential and in the vast majority of situations mediation is a more cost-effective alternative to court litigation. More and more people are turning to mediation as an alternative to battling out their issues in court. Mediation is a growing trend especially in the domestic arena (divorce, paternity, custody) and is especially advantageous in circumstances where the parties will have an ongoing relationship (for example divorcing parents) and can be a great tool in helping parties to resolve their own future conflicts.
When contacting Naegle Law & Mediation, please identify whether you are calling about legal or mediation services. While Lorelei is both an attorney and mediator, she cannot provide both legal advice and mediation services. It is imperative that a mediator maintain their neutrality, and as such, if mediation fails for any reason, Naegle Law & Mediation will not be able to provide you with legal services or advice. Similarly, if you retain our services for legal representation, in most cases Lorelei will not be able to mediate your case as well. If you would like more information on our mediation services before seeking legal advice, including what mediation is and how it can help you, please check our website at www.naegle-law.com/mediation or contact our offices directly at 435-215-1580.
