Nicole H. Najam practices in the areas of complex business litigation and employment law. She represents individuals and businesses in cases involving all manner of business and employment-related matters including sales and contract disputes, wrongful termination and unlawful employment practices. Ms. Najam is also active in the firm’s consumer class action practice where she represents clients seeking injunctive relief and economic recovery for unlawful business practices.
Ms. Najam received her undergraduate degree from Boston College (B.A., cum laude, 2008) and her law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law (J.D., with honors, 2011), where she served as the Managing Editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal. At the University of Connecticut, Ms. Najam was the recipient of a Dean’s Scholarship, and received CALI Excellence awards in Lawyering Process and Employment Law.
While in law school, Ms. Najam served as a judicial intern in United States District Court for the Honorable Vanessa L. Bryant. She also served as a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut, where she appeared on behalf of the government in civil and criminal matters. In addition, Ms. Najam participated in the law school’s Legislative Clinic where she served as a legal intern for the Senate Majority Office. Ms. Najam is admitted to practice in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
