Paul Murphy-Ahles is a lifelong Central Pennsylvania resident with a strong dedication to serving the needs of the residents of his community. He is an active member of the Pennsylvania Middle District Bankruptcy Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He has been a guest speaker on Bankruptcy topics on numerous occasions.
Paul received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Widener University School of Law in 2005 and his bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University in 2001. Since graduating from law school, Paul’s law practice has been focused in the areas of money and finance. He has represented a significant number of consumer debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies. Paul also has represented business debtors in corporate liquidation bankruptcy (Chapter 7) and corporate reorganization bankruptcy (Chapter 11), as well as creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies.
Paul has established a reputation as a compassionate and experienced attorney dedicated to helping his clients with their personal legal issues. If you are facing an overwhelming financial situation and need assistance evaluating your legal options, including bankruptcy, you can rest assured that Paul will be your advocate and address your questions and concerns in a timely manner throughout the entire process. You will meet with him personally, not with an assistant or a paralegal. Paul will personally discuss your case facts and he will explain how the laws apply to your situation. He will then discuss whether a Chapter 7 or a Chapter 13 filing might be in your best interest. He offers a flat attorney’s fee as he does not believe in charging extra for services, which he believes, should be included in a normal bankruptcy case.
In his spare time Paul dedicates his time to various organizations in his church as well as being an active member in his local high school alumni association. In addition, Paul enjoys spending time at home with his wife Deborah and their two children. When he has time, he enjoys playing golf.
