Richard B. Murphy is a founding partner in the Phoenix, Arizona construction and real estate law firm of Murphy Cordier Karber PLC. A veteran, A/V rated litigator, Mr. Murphy represents all participants in the construction industry, with a special emphasis on the representation of general contractors, subcontractors and specialty trades. Mr. Murphy's practice primarily involves the resolution of disputes arising out of the construction process through litigation, administrative proceedings, arbitration and mediation and old-fashioned negotiation. His non-litigation practice includes contract drafting, advising clients on licensing matters, and serving as an arbitrator and mediator of construction disputes. Mr. Murphy is a member of the State Bar of Arizona Construction Section (Chair, 2000 - 2001). A long-time resident of Phoenix, Mr. Murphy graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona.
