Joel has been practicing law since 1993 when he was admitted to practice in the State of Wyoming. In 1997, he passed the Louisiana State Bar and has been practicing in Louisiana since that time. He has litigated numerous cases advocating for plaintiffs in personal/bodily injury matters, as well as defending insureds and insurance companies. He has also worked for a multi-national insurance broker where he handled commercial policy catastrophic losses and major/severe bodily injury cases, i.e., electric shock, electrocution, traumatic amputation, wrongful death, etc., as well as developed strategies for litigation which involved coordination between plaintiff and defense counsel to bring about the early resolution of the matter. His extensive and diverse experience in trial practice, as well as within the insurance industry, allows him to bring a unique viewpoint to every case, no matter how small or large the claim.
