Bryan is admitted to practice in Oregon (1989) and Washington (1990). He is a member of the respective state bar associations, along with the Multnomah County (Oregon) and the American Bar Association. Bryan holds a degree in Economics from Santa Clara University (B.S. 1984). He is a 1989 graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law. He regularly attends seminars and conferences in the areas of business law, real estate and commercial litigation - routinely exceeding the minimum required hours by the state bar. Bryan is also the author of a chapter in an Oregon State Bar sponsored publication on damages entitled "Special Damages for Breach of Contract." This publication is relied upon by Oregon lawyers as an authoritative source on the law of damages.
Bryan enjoys working with businesses and entrepreneurs at all stages, from start-ups to mature to family businesses and individuals who need assistance to capitalize on an opportunity, reduce liability, resolve disputes or engage in litigation.
Types of cases
Bryan assists clients on business, real estate, and litigation matters. His practice includes business formations, mergers, acquisitions and sales, real estate and other commercial transactions, and he provides general counsel to closely-held companies. As part of his practice, he is often called upon to assist clients in identifying business risks and developing prevention strategies. However, should litigation arise, Bryan will work hard to evaluate and resolve cases realistically and effectively -- as well as trying them.
Personal
A native Oregonian, Bryan is a graduate of Santa Clara University (B.S. 1984) and the University of Oregon School of Law (J.D. 1989).
