Christine Owens Morgan is a member of the Real Estate, Environmental and Energy Department. Her primary practice is real estate development and finance and she has general experience in all aspects of real estate. She has represented developers of affordable housing for rental units, condominium units for first-time homeowners and mixed-used developments. For these projects, she has represented the developers in the acquisition of the development sites and the financing of the projects from conventional sources, governmental grants and loans, and tax credits. She has also represented both lenders and borrowers in connection with the financing of real estate and/or commercial transactions and negotiated commercial leases.
Ms. Morgan served pro bono as a legal advisor to the Charter Revision Commission of the City of New Haven and is currently Chair of the Diversity Committee for the New Haven County Bar Association.
