Kevin Moran is a partner in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group and leader of the firm's Advanced Manufacturing Industry Group. Mr. Moran's practice includes the acquisition and enforcement of United States and foreign patents, with an emphasis on mechanical, electro-mechanical and biomedical technologies. Mr. Moran also counsels clients in challenging the validity and enforcement of competitors' patents, including challenging patents through ex parte and inter partes reexamination proceedings. His practice further involves the acquisition of, enforcement of, and counseling regarding United States and foreign trademark rights, copyrights and trade secrets, negotiation of and counseling regarding worldwide intellectual property licenses and technology transfers, product development counseling, and the preparation of validity and infringement opinions.
