Brian Monnich is a partner in the Private Client Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2001.
Practice
Mr. Monnich provides an array of services to clients including the creation of initial estate planning documents, development of sophisticated lifetime gifting strategies and structures, and estate and trust administration. He is involved in all aspects of the private client practice including formulating optimal tax planning strategies, preparing the documents necessary to carry out such strategies, and managing the ongoing implementation of clients' plans to ensure that such plans continue to respond to their needs.
Mr. Monnich also devotes part of his practice to international estate planning, including planning for non-US persons and the administration of foreign trusts. Frequently, his practice also relates to planning for venture capitalists and company founders.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Monnich was a foreign language teacher at Tabor Academy in Marion, Massachusetts and the Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland.
Professional Activities
Mr. Monnich is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and a member of the Steering Committee of the Conservation Council of The Trustees of the Reservations.
