My name is Christopher Mohney.  I have been practicing law in central-western Pennsylvania since 1991.  I am a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University.  I obtained my law degree from the Dickinson School of Law, now known as the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. While in law school, I was an associate editor for the Dickinson Journal of International Law.  After I graduated from law school in 1991, I worked for 1 year in a small law firm in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.  In late 1992, I had the opportunity to move back to my hometown, DuBois, Pennsylvania, to work for a local law firm.  During that time I also served as a part-time Assistant District Attorney for Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.  As a former part-time county prosecutor, I worked closely with law enforcement in all stages in criminal prosecutions, which experiences have assisted me providing legal advice and counsel to persons who are not only being investigated, but have been accused of committing criminal acts.  I have served on a hearing committee for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and served as the chairman of my assigned committee.  In 2003, I opened my own law office.
