Mr. Monahan joined the firm in 1980 and is now a Director. He has tried cases in state and federal courts that range across the spectrum of civil litigation. For the past 10 years, his practice has focused on defense of medical malpractice claims, legal malpractice claims, and drug and medical device liability, including class action cases. He is counted among the most experienced and effective litigators in Vermont. In recognition of this, he is an Associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
For more than 20 years, Mr. Monahan has also been an Associate Professor at the University of Vermont, where he teaches Business Law.
