Mr. Moore is an AV rated litigator with over 16 years of experience handling wrongful death, catastrophic injury and other complex claims in the fields of premise liability, products liability, fire loss, gaming, construction, trucking, defamation and wrongful arrest. Mr. Moore attended undergraduate classes at the University of Mississippi, as well as Strathclyde University in Glasgow, Scotland. Upon his return from Scotland, he attended the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he served as both Executive Editor and Managing Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal and graduated Magna Cum Laude, finishing 5th in a class of 114.
For the first 15 years of his practice, Mr. Moore was trained by and worked with some of the finest litigators in the southeast. He has tried over 50 personal injury and other cases in the State and Federal Courts in Mississippi, resulting in approximately 30 defense verdicts and over 10 trials in which the defendant has prevailed on damages in cases of admitted liability. Mr. Moore has also conducted hundreds of motion hearings and depositions, including depositions of experts in the fields of accident reconstruction, automobile design, biomechanics, construction, economics, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, fire origin and cause, HVAC design and maintenance, kinematics, life care planning, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, OSHA compliance, pathology, physiatrist, premises security, product design, propane industry standards and compliance, psychiatry, toxicology and vocational rehabilitation.
His practice focuses mainly on products liability, premises liability and fire loss litigation. He has been a speaker at Continuing Legal Education seminars and is a member of the Mississippi Defense Lawyer’s Association and the Defense Research Institute. Tim and his wife, Paige, also an attorney, are the proud parents of twin boys, Max and Conner, born in March of 2010.
