David Moffett has practiced law in Florida since his graduation from the University Of Florida College Of Law in 1981. Mr. Moffett began his legal practice in his home town of Miami, Florida, specializing in the trial of personal injury claims. Since that time, Mr. Moffett has won over one hundred jury trials throughout the State of Florida.

For years Mr. Moffett defended large corporations and insurance companies, but now he limits his practice exclusively to the representation of individuals and families injured by the carelessness of others. Mr. Moffett understands that most people prefer to avoid litigation if possible, so he works diligently to resolve cases with the involved insurance companies without filing suit. When reasonable compensation cannot be obtained voluntarily, Mr. Moffett enjoys pursuing what is fair and just for his clients in court.

As a person who truly loves his family, his work, the out of doors and all the joys of an active, healthy lifestyle, Mr. Moffett understands what it means to suffer an injury and to lose the ability to do the things one used to enjoy--all because of the negligence of another.

Mr. Moffett is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Civil Trial Law. Board Certification is the highest level of recognition by The Florida Bar of the competency and experience of an attorney who practices in the area of civil trial law. Board Certified lawyers in civil trial law deal with litigation of civil controversies in all areas of substantive law before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, arbitrators and mediators. In addition to his expertise in court, Mr. Moffett is equally skilled in evaluating, pursuing and resolving civil controversies without need to resort to filing a lawsuit in court.

Mr. Moffett is also honored with the prestigious AV Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell-- the preeminent national publication in the legal field.
