Randall D. Mock was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on August 9, 1943. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a B.B.A. in 1965 and a J.D. in 1968, Mr. Mock earned an LL.M. in taxation from New York University in 1970. Mr. Mock was admitted to the United States Tax Court in 1970, and to the United States Supreme Court in 1977. Mr. Mock is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and the Order of the Coif. While at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Mr. Mock served as Article and Book Review Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review. While at New York University, Mr. Mock served as a Graduate Editor of the Tax Law Review and was awarded the Kenneson Fellowship. The author of numerous articles dealing with tax law and a speaker at tax-oriented seminars, Mr. Mock has also served as an officer of several tax law organizations, such as Chairman of the Section of Taxation of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Subcommittee Chairman of the Section of Taxation of the American Bar Association, President of Oklahoma City Tax Lawyers Group, President and Director of Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council, and Director of the Oklahoma Institute on Taxation. Mr. Mock currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oklahoma Attorneys Mutual Insurance Company, the bar-related professional liability insurance company in the State of Oklahoma. Mr. Mock co-authors Oklahoma Corporate Forms, with annual supplement, published by Lexis Publishing and is a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel. Mr. Mock is a Certified Public Accountant and specializes in tax-related business matters and estate planning. Mr. Mock has been included in The Best Lawyers in America since 1983.
