Engaged in a broad law practice in the areas of civil and administrative litigation and criminal law.
Christopher Mirakian received an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Kansas State University in 2005. A portion of Mr. Mirakian's undergraduate study involved a semester studying at the Consortium of International Universities in Italy.
In 2008, Mr. Mirakian received his law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law. While attending law school, Christopher was selected as a staff member for the UMKC Law Review and UMKC Urban Lawyer and served as a UMKC Emissary. Through his work with the UMKC Law Review, Mr. Mirakian authored, and was selected to publish, Gonzales v. Carhart: A New Paradigm for Abortion Legislation. While attending law school, Christopher completed clerkships with Wyrsch Hobbs Mirakian and the Jackson County, Missouri Prosecutor's Office.
Mr. Mirakian began post-graduate legal practice as an associate with Wyrsch Hobbs Mirakian in the fall of 2008. Christopher has practiced primarily civil litigation in state and federal courts in Missouri. The scope of Mr. Mirakian's civil practice includes such areas as personal injury, contract disputes, civil rights violations, and the exercise of administrative rights. Christopher has also practiced criminal law in municipal and state courts in Missouri. Stemming from his criminal practice, Mr. Mirakian has also represented individuals involved with administrative licensure issues and sex offender registration issues.
Beyond the practice of law, Mr. Mirakian is also involved with the American, Missouri and Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Associations.
