My current practice focuses exclusively on bankruptcy law. 

I am a frequent speaker for Bankruptcy Continuing Legal Education programs for the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Maine State Bar Association, the National Business Institute, and at the United States District Court for the District of Maine Biennial Conference. 

ATTORNEY SPECIALIZATION

The American Board of Certification provides certification for attorneys specializing in Consumer Bankruptcy Law, Business Bankruptcy Law, and Creditors Rights Law.  To achieve certification, an attorney must pass an all day written examination, demonstrate experience in a variety of tasks expected of practitioners in that specialty, receive recommendations from peers, and demonstrate continuing legal education credits in the specialty.  Attorneys who obtain certification provide their clients with experience, up to date knowledge of the bankruptcy system, and a high level of service.
I was certified by the American Board of Certification in 1997 in Consumer Bankruptcy Law.  I am currently the only attorney in the State of Maine with this certification.  I work diligently to stay on top of the many changes in the bankruptcy laws.  My certification reflects my interest in the bankruptcy system and my desire to provide the best service possible for his clients.
