Jeffrey Milton's practice is focused on corporate restructuring and reorganization. Jeffrey has extensive experience advising and representing financial institutions, secured and unsecured creditors, distressed asset purchasers and sellers, official creditors' committees, ad hoc committees, debtors, debtors in possession, and other significant parties in all aspects of complex out-of-court loan workouts and involuntary and voluntary chapter 11 reorganizations and liquidations.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Jeffrey practiced in the financial restructuring group at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP where he was involved in numerous out-of-court restructurings, chapter 11 cases, and cross-border insolvencies, including Enron, Refco, New Century Financial Corporation, Satélites Mexicanos, Winn Dixie Stores, Owens Corning, RCN Corporation, Aloha Airlines I, ATA Airlines I, US Airways Group II, Global Crossing, Horizon Natural Resources, Grupo TMM, Dairy Mart Convenience Stores, Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products, Dictaphone Corporation, and Fruit of the Loom.

In addition to being admitted to practice in New York, Jeffrey is a member of the State Bar of California and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
