Todd Miller is a trial attorney who represents clients in high-stakes, complex intellectual property disputes. He has particular experience in patent litigation arising in the electronics, computer, semiconductor, and software industries. Having tried and won matters before jurors, judges, and arbitrators, Todd is a seasoned litigator who efficiently and effectively advocates the case to obtain client goals.
Todd also has extensive experience in the prosecution of patent and trademark applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and other agencies worldwide. He has counseled clients with the development, maintenance, and policing of their patent and trademark portfolios, including providing clients with exculpatory and freedom-to-operate opinions.
As co-chair of the Firm's Emerging Technologies group focusing on clean technology and nanotechnology, Todd is a frequent speaker and author. With more than 20 articles, Todd has been published in Germany, Japan, the U.K., and the U.S. under the auspices of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Max Planck Institute.
Todd is an active member of the ABA (Litigation and Intellectual Property Sections), ABTL, AIPLA, LAIPLA, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association, serving on many committees of these organizations.
