Mineau, Michael L.

Ms. Milewski practices in the Firm's Pharmaceutical Products and Toxic Torts & Products Liability groups, where she assists in the defense of mass tort and related complex litigation brought against pharmaceutical and chemical product manufacturers, landowners, and other corporate defendants. Currently, Ms. Milewski is part of a team of attorneys defending numerous personal injury, property damage, and assorted state and federal environmental claims stemming from groundwater contamination (TCE) allegedly caused by a manufacturing facility in North Carolina. She also assists in the defense of a contribution action brought against a major petrochemical company based on allegations that its activities led to the release of hydrocarbon and petroleum products into the soil and groundwater surrounding a refinery site it owned more than fifty years ago.

Ms. Milewski is actively involved in the Firm's pro bono program, which has allowed her to represent low-income clients seeking Social Security disability benefits and also to tutor students at The Seed School, a public charter school in Washington, D.C. Ms. Milewski is a member of the Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia.

A participant in the Firm's 2010 Summer Associate class, Ms. Milewski rejoined the Firm after completing her studies at the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was a member of the editorial board of the Virginia Environmental Law Journal.
