Tashena Moore has represented clients in complex arbitration and litigation cases. Her practice has involved bankruptcy law and international trade law, specifically, bringing chapter 11 claims under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). In that capacity, Tashena actively assisted in the Firm's representation of The Loewen Group in its chapter 11 claim against the United States.
In January 2000, Tashena took a brief leave of absence to become an interim law clerk to the Honorable S. Martin Teel Jr. at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Columbia. Currently, Tashena practices primarily in the area of products liability and is actively involved in the Firm's representation of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in smoking and health litigation.
Tashena has worked with a number of organizations in the Washington, D.C. area that provide free legal services to the public and has represented clients in several pro bono matters, including felony criminal defense. She is a member of the District of Columbia and Maryland bars.
