Matthew Michaud graduated from Auburn University with a B.A. and an M.A. in English, winning several academic honors along the way before graduating cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1998. Mr. Michaud has been practicing real estate law for the past 14 years, covering virtually every area of real estate practice. Mr. Michaud also handles consumer bankruptcy (Chapters 7 & 13), corporations (entity formation and governance), immigration and general civil litigation. A dedicated advocate for his clients, Mr. Michaud is committed to helping ordinary people obtain justice, even in the face of fierce opposition from huge international banking institutions.
In his personal life, Mr. Michaud is a lifelong student of literature, history, theology and the law, which is to say that he is a voracious reader in several different subject areas. Mr. Michaud is also a committed evangelical Christian and an accomplished musician who plays bass guitar in his church's praise & worship band.
