Steven A. Michael brings more than 34 years of experience to all aspects of commercial real estate and business matters. He provides counsel and expertise in real estate law, contracts and leases, corporate formation, business planning, and business and commercial litigation. Serving as corporate counsel for Southern Management Corporation, the leading property management firm in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore metropolitan areas, Mr. Michael has orchestrated over $1 Billion worth in commercial real estate financing with institution/lenders including Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and other national banks.

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from The Ohio State University, Mr. Michael returned to his native Washington, D.C. where he earned his Juris Doctorate from The Washington College of Law at The American University. Mr. Michael is a member in good standing with the Bars of Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, United States District Court of Maryland, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, United States District Court of the District of Columbia, the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
