Extensive litigation experience in Monroe, Wayne, Livingston, Steuben and Yates counties. Mr. Metzler has also represented clients culminating in settlements in Orleans, Niagara, Seneca, and Cayuga counties.
Represents clients in every type of matrimonial and family law matter including, but not limited to, prenuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements, divorce actions, custody, child support, property valuation, property distribution, modification of Orders, family offense and relocation proceedings.
Practice philosophy is to negotiate matters for so long as progress can be achieved by doing so and to litigate when necessary. Experience has demonstrated that if one is not prepared to litigate, then one wields little leverage in the negotiation process.
