John's practice focuses primarily on business disputes and intellectual property litigation. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of contexts, including breach of contract, trademark counterfeiting, trademark and copyright infringement, patent infringement, professional malpractice, civil rights, and appeals. John has served clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies, to individuals and small, family-owned businesses. Prior to joining Grodsky & Olecki, John was an associate at Morrison & Foerster in Los Angeles.
John received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was an executive editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law. During law school John served as an extern for the Hon. James V. Selna, U.S. District Judge for the Central District of California in Santa Ana. John received his B.S. summa cum laude in mathematics and economics from UCLA, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
