He assists clients in the preparation and prosecution of trademark and copyright applications in the United States and abroad. In addition, he has prosecuted and defended copyright and trademark infringement cases for clients in the fashion, hospitality, retail, beverage, music, film, and literature industries.
General Business Advice
Mr. Mendelsohn regularly counsels clients in general business matters. He reviews, negotiates, and drafts business agreements relating to a wide scope of transactions, including the sale and purchase of businesses, licenses, distribution agreements, and operating agreements.
Trial Work
Mr. Mendelsohn has served as counsel in trials and arbitrations on topics involving business torts, intellectual property infringement, royalty disputes, breach of contract, shareholder disputes, and real property matters.
Personal History
Mr. Mendelsohn is a native of Southern California. He was raised in the San Fernando Valley where he attended college. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a management consultant for two years. He is married and currently resides in the Studio City.
