Paul W. Mengel III is counsel with PilieroMazza PLLC and leads the Litigation Group.  Mr. Mengel is a seasoned trial attorney with a broad range of experience in all aspects of civil litigation as well as complex commercial disputes.  Mr. Mengel has substantial first-chair trial and appellate experience, successfully representing clients ranging from small businesses, individuals and insurers, to Fortune 500 companies in a diverse range of areas. 

Prior to joining PilieroMazza, Mr. Mengel was of counsel in the Litigation Group of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease.  He represented clients in various matters in state, federal and appellate courts, which included: defense of employment discrimination and wrongful discharge lawsuits; litigation of complex commercial disputes; representation of manufacturers in defense of products liability, property damage and bodily injury claims; and the defense of attorneys in professional negligence actions.  Mr. Mengel’s litigation skills have also lent themselves to the successful negotiation of many contentious disputes through alternative dispute resolution.
