Mark Metcalf is a senior associate in the firm's Emerging Companies practice and focuses his practice on the representation of start-up and high-growth technology companies in the life sciences, information technology, wireless, online media and web services sectors. In addition, Mark also represents leading venture capital firms and private investment firms on portfolio investments. He has been involved in numerous transactions ranging from public equity and debt offerings, merger/acquisition transactions, private equity and venture capital financing transactions and complex restructurings and spin-off transactions. Mark is a regular speaker on start-up company and venture financing topics, and has served as a coach for several business plan presentation competitions including the Northwest Entrepreneur Network's Early Stage Investment Forum (ESIF) and the University of Washington Business School's CIE Business Plan Competition.
