Mr. McWeeney is a former Law Clerk in the Ocean County Superior Court, Toms River, New Jersey for the Honorable Judge James Clyne (Retired), Judge Francis Piscal (Retired), Judge Peter Giovine (Retired) and Judge Frank A. Buczynski, P.J.Ch. in 1989 through 1990.
  
Following his clerkship, Mr. McWeeney joined the Ocean County Surrogate’s Office in 1990 through 1996 as Legal Counsel for the Ocean County Surrogate and was then promoted to Special Deputy Surrogate.  He was responsible for the legal section of the office which included all fillings for Estate Litigation matters, Guardianships, Conservatorships and Adoptions.

Mr. McWeeney has been a long term member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section and Elder Law and Disability Section.   He also maintains memberships in the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), Guardianship Association of New Jersey, Inc. (GANJI) and the National Guardianship Association (NGA).
 
Mr. McWeeney is an Adjunct Professor at Ocean County College in Toms River, New Jersey.  He has maintained that position since 1990.  He is a lecturer and Professor for Estate and Trust Administration, Introduction to Law and Legal Assistantance, Business Law, Principles of Public Administration and State and Local Government.
