He is a fellow of the American College of Probate Counsel and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America. He has also been selected as a "Leading American Attorney." John has been a lecturer at Hamline University School of Law and the College of Saint Catherine. He is a member of the Ramsey County, Minnesota State and American Bar associations.
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, John received his B.S. from Georgetown University and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He joined Briggs in 1959.
