Mena, Maria E.

Michael McNamara concentrates his practice in civil litigation, criminal prosecution and defense, and municipal law. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Minors in Criminal Justice and Marketing from Eastern Michigan University. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Detroit in 1993. He was a litigation attorney from 1994 through March 1999 at one of Michigan's largest law firms focusing his practice on medical malpractice, municipal law, product liability and business law. He was with the firm from 1999 through 2003 representing various business enterprises, associations and individuals. In 2003 he joined Angelo A. Plakas & Associates, P.C. and became an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Westland and continued his litigation practice. In 2009 he rejoined Fausone Bohn, LLP in Northville. He has tried hundreds of cases involving various crimes, environmental law, construction law, municipal law, and business law. He is responsible for handling cases from initial investigation through trial. He has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts. He also has experience in alternative dispute resolution such as arbitration, mediation and facilitation.

He continues to focus his practice on municipal law, criminal and civil litigation, business law and real estate.
