Brien McMahon has over 32 years of commercial, real estate/environmental and product liability litigation experience. In the 1980s, Brien represented National Gypsum and in the early 1990s, the Boeing Company and W.R. Grace in asbestos-related actions. Brien has also represented Ford Motor Company in a product liability action arising from a vehicle rollover and The Boeing Company in a product liability action arising from an alleged defectively designed aircraft elevator system. Brien is a former partner of Johnsen Manfredi & Thorpe and following its merger with Perkins in 1988, was Of Counsel to the Perkins Los Angeles office from 1988-1993. Brien has been a member of the Perkins asbestos litigation team since 2002. He coordinates malignancy case assignments, supervises day-to-day case management activities (discovery, fact investigation, expert witnesses and trial preparation) and participates in trial proceedings.
