Susan McLerran’s practice is focused on divorce proceedings, pre-marital and post-marital agreements, marital property characterization, valuation and division, taxation, business valuation, issues related to stock options and restricted stock, retirement assets, and employee benefits, child support modifications, modification of conservatorship and visitation rights, enforcement of court orders and adoptions. Susan’s experience includes litigation, arbitration and mediation of all family law matters.
Susan became Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2010. She was named a “Rising Star” by Texas Monthly Magazine and the Texas Super Lawyers Publication (2011) and serves as a director of the Houston Bar Association Family Law Section Board of Directors (2011). Susan is a member of the Burta Rhoads Raborn Family Law Inns of Court (2007-2011), Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists (2011) and Gulf Coast Family Law Specialists (2011).

Susan graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in May, 2005 and was licensed to practice law in June, 2005. Susan is also a graduate of The University of Texas, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language. While in college, she was a four-year starter for the Lady Longhorn Volleyball Team and competed in the NCAA Division I National Championship in 1995.
