Kelly was born in Chicago and raised in Downeast Maine. While attending University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Kelly interned at the State of Alaska Public Defender Agency in Anchorage representing juvenile clients. After graduation, Kelly returned to Anchorage to clerk for Superior Court Judge Sen K. Tan. Upon completion of her clerkship, she joined the State of Alaska Public Defender Agency as an Assistant Public Defender. Kelly joined Lynch & Associates in February 2012. Kelly is licensed to practice law in all Alaska State Courts, as well as the United State District Court for the District of Alaska.
