Christa McGill received her law degree from Duke University in 1988. After law school, Ms. McGill worked for the Social Security Administration before returning to Durham and starting the law firm of McGill & Noble with Virginia Noble. Ms. McGill practices exclusively in the area of Social Security Disability law and Veterans' Disability law. She has been certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a Specialist in Social Security Disability Law and is admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. Ms. McGill also earned a Ph.D. in sociology from Duke University, where she studied occupations and social inequality.
