Tara focuses her practice on white-collar criminal and government regulatory matters. Tara's experience includes working on internal investigations and defending companies and individuals in white-collar criminal investigations and civil enforcement actions.

In addition, Tara has been involved in advising clients on regulatory and government relations matters, including representation of merging parties before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). Prior to joining Jones Day, Tara conducted criminal antitrust investigations at the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice and served as a economic analyst conducting antitrust reviews of proposed mergers and monitoring deals undergoing CFIUS review at an internationally renowned law firm.

Tara is currently pro bono counsel in an asylum case before the Immigration Court in Arlington, Virginia where she is seeking asylum on behalf of a family who fled El Salvador.
