McKay, J. Scott

Ms. McElreath is a native of Florence, South Carolina. She obtained her undergraduate degree at College of Charleston, then after working at a Charleston law firm, went on to earn her juris doctor degree from the Charleston School of Law.

At the Charleston School of Law, Ms. McElreath served as articles editor of the Charleston Law Review. She also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Legal Research and Writing, and served as a Teaching Fellow in Legal Research and Writing. She also served as an intern to The Honorable Patrick Duffy and The Honorable Michael Nettles.
