Owen McGowan has served as lead counsel in over 100 civil trials over the past 17 years in the State and Federal Courts. This vast experience includes the representation of plaintiffs and defendants, primarily in significant personal injury matters. Attorney McGowan has extensive experience in the area of Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR). ADR is a method of settling a legal matter without taking the matter to a court. He has served as a mediator/arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and conducted many private arbitrations. In addition, he has served as a judicial panelist on over 50 medical malpractice screening tribunals in conjunction with a Justice of the Massachusetts Superior Court and a licensed medical doctor.
