Ms. Zhou focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation. She represents companies in the pharmaceuticals, financial services and technology sectors.

Recent Highlights

• Defending Cephalon, Inc. against the Federal Trade Commission, Apotex, and a number of purported purchaser classes in their antitrust challenge of “reverse payment” Hatch-Waxman patent settlements
• Defended Braintree Laboratories, Inc. in opposing certification of a direct purchaser class in its antitrust challenge of sham litigation
• Defending a major bank against breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract claims
• Obtained reversal of a determination denying pro bono client of unemployment insurance

Past Experience

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Zhou was a volunteer attorney in the Asian Outreach Unit at Greater Boston Legal Services, where she provided legal assistance to low-income clients on housing, family, immigration and employment matters.

During law school, Ms. Zhou served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Phyllis J. Hamilton at the US District Court for the Northern District of California and the Honorable Maria P. Rivera at California’s First District Court of Appeal.

Before law school, Ms. Zhou was an economics consultant at Charles River Associates, where she assisted testifying experts in evaluating damages.

Professional Activities

Ms. Zhou is a member of the Board of Directors of the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts, and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.
