Sybil Bates McCormack is an associate with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group at Barrett & Farahany, LLP. Sybil represents employment law clients seeking the timely, amicable negotiation, mediation and settlement of their cases.

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Sybil has been licensed to practice law in Georgia since May 1998. During that time, she has held associate attorney positions at several well-known personal injury law firms in Metro Atlanta. She was most recently employed as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at a local executive recruiting firm and temporary agency.

Sybil holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Cornell University and a Juris Doctorate (i.e., law degree) from the Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston. While at law school, Sybil was a Junior Member of, and then an Articles Editor on, the Thurgood Marshall Law Review.

Sybil is married to a minister and is the mother of two school-aged children. In her spare time, she actively participates in her church as a teacher, singer and musician. She also reads voraciously, studies Spanish, and writes inspirational fiction and non-fiction.
