McDonough, David S.

David S. McDonough is an Associate with the firm. He practices business and real estate law, business litigation, real estate transactions, corporate formation and business consulting.

Mr. McDonough started practicing law in Texas. He began working for the largest family-owned regional rental car company until he left to open and operate his own firm. He represented small business owners and individuals with legal issues involving corporate formation, real estate transactions, estate planning, purchase of franchise opportunity and the creation of franchises.

In 2006, he relocated to the Bay Area and worked for a real estate management and development company. There, he assisted in all aspects of complex real estate and business transactions, including the refinance of a residential development, 1031 real estate exchanges, sale of apartment complexes and modification of financing for residential development, among many other tasks. He also managed the internal operations of dozens of companies to ensure smooth operation of their businesses and to prevent litigation and ensure best practices from a legal standpoint.

With The Angell Law Firm, P.C., Mr. McDonough works with landlords, tenants and purchasers and sellers of real property. He also works with businesses to prevent lawsuits and sell their assets. He works with asset protection and fights judgments against debtors.

David is a graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri, and received his undergraduate degree at Trinity University in San Antonio Texas. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus in Pleasant Hill, California. When he's not at the office he enjoys spending time with his family.
