Ian was admitted to the Bar of the State of Illinois and to the Bar of the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 2003.  As an attorney tirelessly dedicated to the advancement of Plaintiffs’ rights, Ian has handled numerous areas of complex litigation including medical malpractice, wrongful death, catastrophic vehicular collisions, dog bite and premises liability and other types of complex litigation matters.

Ian attended the University of Arizona and graduated Cum Laude. While attending Loyola University of Chicago School of Law, he served as the Captain of the American Bar Association Moot Court Team in 2003. He received the prestigious Joan Marie Corboy Scholarship for leadership qualities and superior ability in trial advocacy. Upon receipt of his Juris Doctor, Ian also received a certificate in trial advocacy reflecting his dedication and specialization toward trial work.

As one of the managers of Goldberg Weisman Cairo, Ian has resolved and overseen the resolution of over $30 million in settlements.  Ian's efforts have been recognized on a national scale, as he was named to the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers Association, initially in 2011 and again in 2012.

Ian is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyer Association, Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. While away from work, Ian loves spending time with his family and practicing the martial art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
