McCormack, Stacy Wiederle

Ms. Zapata is an associate attorney at the Shimoda Law Corporation. Ms. Zapata graduated with Distinction from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Jennet has experience representing individuals in all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including disability, age, sex and race discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage and hour, and class action matters. She has also represented a group of clients in a collective action in federal court brought under the Federal Labor Standards Act. She has extensive experience in handling Labor Commissioner settlement conferences and hearings for wage and hour violations.

Prior to joining the Shimoda Law Corp., Ms. Zapata worked at California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc. During law school, Ms. Zapata externed at the California Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District, in Presiding Justice Vance Raye's chambers.
