After obtaining his Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland, Michael was admitted to the Maryland Bar and spent a year as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Paul Garvey Goetzke, Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County. Michael earned his Master's degree in Public Administration from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Boston College.
