Ted McClintock graduated from the University Of Wyoming College Of Law, in the Class of 1994. After graduation, he worked in El Paso and Teller Counties as a Deputy District Attorney for the Fourth Judicial District of Colorado until 1999. During his employment with the D.A.'s Office, he was in charge of the Sexual Offense, Crimes Against Children Unit; which is known today as the Special Victims Unit (SVU). In 1999 he entered private practice focusing solely on criminal defense, first with the law firm of Daniel and Thom, P.C. and then later entering a business partnership with Elizabeth McClintock by forming the law firm of McClintock & McClintock, P.C. The firm reached national notoriety when it handled the defense of Mr. Gary Hill in 2005. Mr. Hill, a previous client, was charged with 1st degree murder. The verdict rendered in Mr. Hill's case was an acquittal of all charges filed against him.
Today, Ted continues to focus on cases within the criminal defense realm. He specializes in the defense of those charged with crimes of sexual misconduct. He has chosen not to venture into other areas of the law but, instead to focus his attention and knowledge on this one very specific area. He has done this in order to more sufficiently serve his clients and give them the best possible defense.
Ted has seen the damage attorneys, not experienced in the laws, procedures and aftermath of sexual misconduct cases, can do to their clients. He works hard to give his clients the most accurate answers he can, and to make sure every possible defense is explored to its fullest possibility.
