McClane, J. Brock

Meghan Leigh Young is a native of Opelousas, Louisiana.   Following graduation from Opelousas Catholic High School, Meghan attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and minor in Political Science Pre-Law.   While attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Meghan participated in an internship at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Louisiana. 

Following graduation from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Meghan attended Loyola University New Orleans’ College of Law, obtaining a Juris Doctor in Civil Law and also receiving a certificate in Common Law.   While attending Loyola University New Orleans’ College of Law, Meghan participated in the Maritime Law Journal, as well as Loyola’s Journal of Law and Technology.  

Meghan’s practice is concentrated in the areas of personal injury and domestic law.  Meghan is an active member of the Louisiana Bar Association, Lafayette Bar Association, Young Lawyer’s Association, and the American Bar Association.
