James is a lifelong resident of the New Orleans area who practices primarily in the areas of insurance defense, automobile casualty, insurance coverage, insurance fraud, bad faith and extra contractual claims, and general civil litigation. He obtained a B.A. in Political Science from the University of New Orleans in 1994. He attended law school at Louisiana State University, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 1998. Mr. Young is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association. Since joining the firm in 2004, Mr. Young has served as counsel for insurance carriers in both Federal and State Courts in Louisiana. Mr. Young is particularly active in litigating claims involving insurance fraud.
