McAuliffe, Michael J.

Gordon May has experience as a trial attorney since early 1989. He has traveled throughout the United States attending depositions of plaintiffs, trial witnesses and experts primarily in mesothelioma cases. He was selected as national trial counsel for a former manufacturer on the east coast of asbestos-containing electrical wire and cable products and he pursued this endeavor for about 10 years. He was admitted pro hac vice in Pennsylvania where he won a defense verdict. On behalf of this client, he was also admitted pro hac vice as Trial counsel for cases pending in New York, Ohio, North Dakota, Mississippi, Texas, and West Virginia. Since 2002, he has worked with Bassi, Edlin, Huie & Blum LLP and has been the lead trial attorney for a refractory contractor that worked on boilers, furnaces and kilns.

Mr. May graduated from California State University, Hayward, in 1978 with a B. A. Degree in German and Minors in French, Russian and Spanish. He graduated with his J.D. Degree in 1984 from San Francisco Law School.

Recreational diversions enjoyed seasonally by Mr. May include fishing and alpine skiing, both domestically and internationally, and backpacking in California.
